Are we taking new clients right now?

The short answer, Yes. The long answer…. it depends on the project. Paige and her team are always taking referrals for buyers and sellers looking for their next home. As for the design process; she is currently taking new design clients on retainer and is willing to discuss flip projects with builders and investors.

If I buy or sell a house with you will Paige design it for me too?

The real estate process of purchasing or selling a home is an entirely different process than having Paige design and / or manage the project for you. While they may seem connected, the process of designing and managing a build-out project is distinctly independent from closing on a real estate transaction where Paige represented you as the Realtor.

Can I just hire Paige to help me fix my house?

Yes! She is currently taking design consultation appointments on new residential projects. Paige is NOT a general contractor and will not take the place of hiring a general contractor for larger remodel projects. There is a $499 initial consult fee for her time to consult on new projects and then she will work up a more complete budget for the whole project during that time.

Do you have an Investment Guide I can look at?

Yes, check it out here.

Are there fees to work with Paige as my designer?

Yes, the initial design consultation appointment fee is $499. That covers around an hour to an hour and a half of time to review the project in person with you, discuss scope of design and budget. After the initial consultation, Paige will work up a comprehensive design and project plan depending on your needs and will charge a retainer for her services to begin laying out drawings and design board as well as assist in management of the project.

Why should we use you as our Realtors®?

We will represent you and protect your best interests throughout the entire home buying or selling process. While Paige’s forte’ is project homes and being able to “dream build” with you before you even write an offer on a property; her team has a wide and diverse range of real estate knowledge and they will work with you to find the best fit for buying or selling your home. Buying with us gives you the ability to use our knowledge of design and experience in construction on a day to day basis while also analyzing which neighborhood is the best fit for you, the best negotiation tactics to use in the market and which home will give you the most bang for your buck.

How much cash do I really need to buy a house?

So typically speaking you'll need your down payment (which is around 3.5%-20% percent of the purchase price of the home) and you'll need closing costs (which are lender fees, prorated taxes, your first year's home owners insurance payment, and any HOA dues). Once we start the search and find the perfect home to go ahead and write an offer on it, you'll 1% of the purchase price to put in an escrow account with the title company that goes towards your down payment on closing day.  Also, if you're planning on having a home inspection done on the home prior to purchasing that cost is between $500 and $650 and is paid for by the buyers when the home inspection is completed.

All my money goes towards paying rent! How on earth can I save for a down payment!

Not a problem...Believe it or not, there are many home loans that buyers can qualify for that are 0% down payment. There are even some loans that are called 103% which cover all of the down payment for your and up to 3% of the closing costs too! Your overall interest on the life of the loan may be slightly higher, but it helps to build up that equity in the beginning if you're short the cash, or if you want to save some money to put back into remodels or projects.

What is a Title Company, and what do they do?

Title Companies are a disinterested 3rd party in the home buying process and they make sure that there are no liens or “clouds” in the ownership title between the home seller and home buyers. They also facilitate the creation and signing (closing) of all of the legal documents that go into the home buying transaction.
